Tips for Your Office
Filing Systems An easy way to keep up with your system is to create a folder as you are working with a new company or task. Write the company name on the tab and contact information inside the folder. It only takes a minute to do this and everything relating to that project or item can be placed directly into the folder. Computer Organization Create and name a new folder as you begin a new project. Place the folder in the area on your computer that will make sense to you when it is time to retrieve it. Calendars and planners are useful tools for keeping us organized but only if we record all of our appointments and commitments in one place. Find a system that appeals to you and the way you work. Use that system (Palm Pilot, Computer Program, Desk Calendar, Planner, etc.) for everything that you do. By having everything in one place you will gain time and create organization.
